Does Diario support Markdown either now or planned for the future? Markdown is documented here:

4 years and no change... Development of Diaro is really slow paced.

I agree. I switched from other diary apps because of the superior features in Diaro (such as better control over what and how is printed on PDFs). But I miss the MarkDown from the other apps. Can we have markdown or buttons for bold, italics etc.?

The way I use my journal requires the ability to format the text - I regularly make use of bold and italic script (sometimes for the same text), unordered lists, and even the occasional header. I am loving the simple elegance of Diaro... but because I can't get around the inability to format, I can't justify using it at this time.
Please, please, please consider supporting Markdown - or at least set up a highlight-and-choose list of options, like what's available on https://jrnl.com/

This would make Diaro much more useful. Thanks.

Yes please! Even just release something with the basics like bold, italics, strikethrough, headings would be a great start!

That would be really important - and a benefit for the app.

+1 for this. Would increase productivity a lot using it from a computer.

bump for this, it would complement the app's simplicity and elegance perfectly, I think
