Adding Year Wise Sorting Option
I have been using the Diaro for two months and I'm really in love with it. It is perfect except for two things. One is Google Drive backup option. The other one is adding an option to sort the notes based on Year. So when I look back through the diaro, I can easily locate to the incident I wish to go. And also the tags dont cross weird numbers like 1000 and above. If you sort them through years, the count would start again from 1 every January 1. Thank you.

Mouse-over help for buttons on website
It would be useful to describe the functionality of some of the buttons in the web interface - particularly the select /check buttons at the top. (The check buttons look like a to-do list feature, but have a different role).

Mega drive support
Mega is bigger than Dropbox. Mega offers 50GB, much better than Dropbox.
Two ideas:
1. It would be usefull if we can choose which drive we want to use
2. A migration tool would be needed in order to transfer the information from one drive to another14 votes -
Re-design web and app
The website has a lot of wasted space. I'm using a 1920x1080 screen and write a new entry, the part on the right is empty. It could make a bigger font, add photos on the right side .. seems poorly designed.
I appreciate your service, but I think that we need a more actual design.

upload videos from iphone
is there any way to upload videos into the diary? It would be most helpful from the IPhone, but from the web entry would be good as well. thanks.

Bigger Picture / Photo Centric experience
It's a cliche that a picture tells a thousand word. But, I really like to have the freedom to show a larger than current size picture first in my entry then only followed by my writing, it recalls memory and gives better impact when I re-read my diary.
As opposing to now, all writings and then a little thumbnail of picture at bottom(when I click into reading one particular entry that is).

Ability to have multiple accounts
While using Diaro on my android and chrome, I have a personal account and a shared account with my spouse. I have to go into incognito mode to use the shared account because it automatically links the dropbox from my personal account and displays my personal posts. Would it be possible to simplify having more than one account? I saw it was declined to have collaborations, so how about this as a compromise?

Ability to export from mobile app
Hi,
I mostly use my phone and tablet these days, hardly switch on the laptop anymore.
But from my (Android) devices, I now cannot export a set of selected notes.
I would like to have the same export possibilities fom the online version in the mobile app.Regards, Martin

Other export formats
I just love the pdf export system. I wish to have other options(other formats like .zip, html etc.) to export data say when we want to save our data and after months we want to come again on online/diaro we can import the same.

Edit PFD Pages
I would like to be able to edit the PDF pages before downloading, ability to re-size and move pictures around the page, kind of like in a Word format with text boxes for dated entries. That way when I print it off it looks like a nice journal with no blank spaces.

It would be good if the export included the maps of where the entries were posted..

Tab key in text box
It would be great if we could use the TAB key in the text box to indent instead of it changing which item is selected.
I like to keep my messages indented for easier reading and would love this feature to be implemented in the same way that Notepad++ does it or Microsoft word.
Having to press SPACE 5 times to indent is not the most efficient way of writing possible.12 votes -

I think that would be cool if top panel color was look like a category colour when I open my note.

Monthly View / Weekly View
Like if I want to see August month entries only so in Date option if I choose August 2015 then I would be able to view that month entries only..it will provide the monthly assessment very easy..like this you can add weekly view also.

Map Overview for location of all entries made within a date range
I'd find it really useful and a great feature if there could be a map feature to see the location of all entries made in a date range (or all entries) - and being able to see how many entries have been made in a specific location.

share a folder with another diaroapp user
Is it possible to share one folder of my diary to another diaroapp user. For example, I have a folder called family. I want to share that folder with my wife so that she can all entries in that folder.
Also is it possible to attach documents like pdf. I will be able to attach my bills and payment receipts.
