I'd like to use Google drive for cloud storage I already have a drive account.

Audio recordings to attach to the entries.

Adding photos...
I would love to be able to add photos anywhere within the individual entries that I wish. For example, to put a family picture immediately following a paragraph or story about my family, but before other parts of that day's entry.

Making Journal Entries via dedicated diaro email address
Quoting someone's post on the Knowledge Base -
It's a reality that people like to create content by sending an email. This is why Wordpress, Evernote and a host of other services have put this feature in place. Each account is associated with a unique (resettable) email address. Text and photos can be added via email.
Is Diaro going to do this??? Please, please, please say yes. I love my Diaro, but I can see the benefit of this. Even forwarding important emails that you want to document and search later.

A PC app
A PC app to systematically upload and download data to windows users, that will then synchronize between devices. Web based Diaro rely on heavy bandwidth use. Specially upload.
-The same picture gets synced over and over every bootup of the app.
-To automatically add a snapshot of the calls taken and sms's sent (call log) each day at a specific time.
_google calendar sync was a great idea. add a google task integration too.
-Needs lots of work with the sync. Maybe a differential upload and download thing with sync schedules, once a day twice a day, twice a week…62 votes -
Sub-folders
I would like to see (customized) sub-folders added to the main folders section. IE: Entertainment would have the sub-folders of Music, Movies and T.V. or Vacations would have the sub-folders of Europe, Japan, Ship Cruises, and Theme Parks.

#hashtags and @mentions
Simplify (and power up) tag management by allowing to enter #hashtags in front of any word (like workflowy and fetchnotes) to turn it into a tag; use of @MentionSomeone would be nice too, so we could easily filter events by people; inline tags (inside text) would be great; but separate tags (as it is now) is fine also (simplenote uses this approach also);

Apple Mac Version
Hi
It would be great if there was a version of Diaro I could use on my macbook without having to use the internet.I currently use DayOne for my journal, but it doesn't sync well with my android phone. I can't use Diaro on my macbook because I cant find a version that installs. So I keep using DayOne for now.

Allow for another storage service besides Dropbox
I don't trust Dropbox and they have proven themselves unreliable in my recent experience with them. I know you declined a similar suggestion to offer other cloud storage options (one drive, google drive, carbonite... plenty of options), but I'd like you to reconsider. Just letting you know that since you require dropbox, I'll likely begin looking for other diary app, but only because you require us to use dropbox. It's disappointing because I like your app a lot.

Bigger Picture / Photo Centric experience
It's a cliche that a picture tells a thousand word. But, I really like to have the freedom to show a larger than current size picture first in my entry then only followed by my writing, it recalls memory and gives better impact when I re-read my diary.
As opposing to now, all writings and then a little thumbnail of picture at bottom(when I click into reading one particular entry that is).

Markdown formating rr even better - WYSIWYG editor...
Markdown formating support would be fantastic! Of course, it would be better if Diaro a WYSIWYG editor, but if that is impossible, then at least markdown.
The application is too good - incredible!
But I would like to enrich the posts with formatting: bold, italic, text colors, lists, etc. just basic staff...44 votes -
Attach other files as well as photos - pdfs, docs etc
I saw it suggested a few years ago to make it so we can attach files as well as photos - doc, pdf etc. This would be awesome for my work - I use Diaro as a teacher and its fantastic - I can record my work for the lesson, note students behaviour, add photos from whiteboard. If I could add files of the work covered that would be brilliant

Compatible with Google Drive
I really enjoy logging my daily activities on my diary, however instead of Dropbox it would be really nice to have it sync Google Drive.
The reason why I suggest this is because I work for a school and I need to keep an agenda of all the classes and activities we perform, and it has to be share to our principals. However, for quick responses they only manage Google Drive.
Anyways, this app is great!

google photos integration
This might not be possible,,, but I'd shoot away...
Is there anyway to integrate Google Photos app with Diaro? For example, attaching pictures in Diaro from link embedded from Google Photos. I knew 200kb for a single picture might not mean anything these days, but Dropbox size is a fairly limited 2 GB storage.
I just thought that if this is possible, it would greatly save both user's precious storage AND Diaro's server bandwidth load immensely. There's virtually no limit on Google Photos storage for High Quality pictures, so just think about how it could increase speed times and reduce…

Template creation
It would be nice to create a template -- for example, an exercise log, or a daily food journal, and then be able to use that template to create a daily entry.

Other export formats
I just love the pdf export system. I wish to have other options(other formats like .zip, html etc.) to export data say when we want to save our data and after months we want to come again on online/diaro we can import the same.
