A PC app
A PC app to systematically upload and download data to windows users, that will then synchronize between devices. Web based Diaro rely on heavy bandwidth use. Specially upload.
-The same picture gets synced over and over every bootup of the app.
-To automatically add a snapshot of the calls taken and sms's sent (call log) each day at a specific time.
_google calendar sync was a great idea. add a google task integration too.

to-do list and notifications
Hello!
I use Diaro since less than a week but I feel it's a great app and I enjoy it very much. I've already gone to the pro version as I'd like to add my entries also from my laptop..
As I am using Diaro for writing down notes, to-do's, etc. other than normal diary, I think it would be a good idea if you could integrate some simple to-do list management. Actually, I could tag my own to-do entries with a "to-do" label, but I am missing the possibility to have a notification for the to-do's, and a little…21 votes -
Ability to type in time
Ability to type in the actual time instead of having to use the slider.

compact image before saving note
when taking photos from high resolution phones, the size of file is very big.

Geolocation display issues (3 points)
- Showing location with map in mobile app (like in web-based app)
- Ability to zoom location on the map without toggling to location edit mode 3 Ability to rename locations. It's especially important for the selection list - it's really difficult "to understand" or "to remember" some locations by their default names

drag and drop photos/images
Hey there!
First of all, great app! thank you for all your effort put into this. it really keeps my mind clearer.
I find it very useful to include photos/images in my posts although I don't like spending to much time on saving the images on my computer and then uploading them on Diaro. Are you working on this already?

rearranging pictures
Can you drag photos to fit a different order? Sometimes I make a mistake and forget a picture that I would like to add chronologically for that day.

"Current" Folder Homepage
I would like the ability to archive notes in each of my folders. That way, I can review each of my folders daily, and only see the current information that is relevant to me. When I am done with a note, I do not have to delete it, archiving will leave it accessible but not in my face.

Print and share form diaroapp.com
Sometimes I use app with my tablet and when I come back I check notes by diaroapp.com because is very easy, fast and good to use. I noted that there is no possibility to print or share entry by website

Transfer to Excel Files
It would be great if when you uploaded the files or sent to print, that you could do it in Excel Format. I use Diaro to record hours against clients and this would be a real asset.

shortcut keys
It would be great if the app would be more keyboard-agnostic.
Even basic commands such as adding an entry are not available - why is that?shortcut keys should be available for creating a new entry, edit an existing one, moving between entries/directories/tags, search functionality, and the edit options of every entry.
bonus points for shortcut keys such as in asana - using tab+key to move around places, highlighting the character that represents the shortcut key.
more bonus points would be for fuzzy search and move - using ctrl+p like functionality to move around and do various actions.

if you mean the generic "full-screen mode" of other apps, that is not helpful.

Export Diaro File Type
Need to be able to export to Diaro Export File Format (backup) like on Android app.

"Tags multi selects" rollback to previous version
In the previous version, when selected multiple labels, the app show me the tickets that contains ALL TAGS selected
Example: If I select tag "Visits" and tag "pendings" ONLY show me entries with pending visits ( the app show my only the entries with the tag "Visits" AND with the tag "pending")
The new version displays the entries that match SOME TAGS selected
Example: If I select the label "visits" and "pending" show me all the "visits" entries and all "pending" entries (Really the app show my all the entries with the tag "Visits" and all tags with the tag…

Template creation
It would be nice to create a template -- for example, an exercise log, or a daily food journal, and then be able to use that template to create a daily entry.

Icons,
some kind of icons to use in the text or in the title of the entry to easy visualize and discriminate the content of the entry, or simply personalize more the entry itself (the builted in the keyboard of android wont be visualized in web or in other versione of android). things like weather, moods, meetings, medicines, usual stuff

Export Modifications
Regarding the export option it would be better if:
- Create a new Layout “Mixed”: to have the compact layout for entries without picture and normal for the ones that do have a picture.
- If you have more than one picture, the first page will contain the first picture, the following pages will have space to contain 2 pictures per each (not one per each as it is).
- Don’t disconnect the wording with the picture by setting between them the location and classification (folder and tag) section. Please, it’d be great if this info would be placed between the date and…

To be able to backup certain entries instead of the whole thing.
When we do a backup it backups everything which can eventually be a very big file. Then for some reason I can't back it up to Dropbox, maybe it's too big? But if I could backup certain dates it would be smaller and easier backup to Dropbox and make a PDF file too.
