"Current" Folder Homepage
I would like the ability to archive notes in each of my folders. That way, I can review each of my folders daily, and only see the current information that is relevant to me. When I am done with a note, I do not have to delete it, archiving will leave it accessible but not in my face.

if you mean the generic "full-screen mode" of other apps, that is not helpful.

More options for PDF export
Would like to export to pdf without having folder or location printed against every entry.

Export Modifications
Regarding the export option it would be better if:
- Create a new Layout “Mixed”: to have the compact layout for entries without picture and normal for the ones that do have a picture.
- If you have more than one picture, the first page will contain the first picture, the following pages will have space to contain 2 pictures per each (not one per each as it is).
- Don’t disconnect the wording with the picture by setting between them the location and classification (folder and tag) section. Please, it’d be great if this info would be placed between the date and…

TAGS REPRESENTATION OPTIONS
It would be great if there will appear options for representing scope of tags:
1. Just as a list in sidebar (as it is now)Fulscreen TAGCLOUD (it is extremely useful when we deal with more than 100 tags ) And here should be further options how to represent such a tagcloud beginning with rule of sorting (alphabeticaly, by quantity of articles attaced to a tag, by date of tag or article creation) Next option how to represent tagcloud may be SIZE (or/and) COLOR (only in the tagcloud) of a tag depending on a mentioned above sorting rule.

Dropbox back-up via diaro website
When using the Diaro website you can only export in txt or pdf format, I think a dropbox option (like in the android app) would be very useful. It would be a safety against sync lag.

Add thumbnails to tags
Under the list view of entries, I would suggest displaying thumbnails that represent a tag and not an uploaded image. i would let the images separated as part of the inner content of the entry.
A file upload field should be provided for the created tags.
In my personal case, I use the thumbnails as indicator, but with the current setup, it forces me to upload several times the same image if for example the tag is petrol, so every time I fill petrol, I create a new entry, but the image is unique to each entry, lots of redundancy…3 votes -

bullet and numbering for "to do" list and a "contact" section
since I use this on my computer almost as much as I use it with my Tablet . it would be great to have your contacts available and through out the day at work I've noticed how often I need to make a bullet list or to do list.

Option to turn off dates display in main window
It will be nice to have such an option to switch off displaying all dates on homepage. For example I am using DIARO not for a diary where chronology is important but as data store. I this case big characters of dates are not necessary and I prefer to turn it off.

Customize diary entries, default folder, emojis
I would like to be able to add pictures into the diary entry itself, as i often refer to it in the text. Also font and color editing.
Smileys and emojis to help recall the mood in wich the journal was written in .

Should have Full Screen Option, Text Markdown support, Dark theme and human readable backup file
Here are some tips for improving Diaro, my favourite app.
Should have Full Screen Option. As it is a journal, the user has to fully concentrate on the diaro.
Text Markdown support, as we can choose headlines, sub heads, italics with markdown support.
Dark theme for night use as major of the users use it in night.
A human readable backup file is required to easily edit or view the diaro content. The same should be readable for diaro too.13 votesSome of these features will be added in the future updates.

More Options with Export
It would be nice to have more options within the export function. for example: export without category tags, without such a big branding (a bit smarter please or clean option), export without pictures, export with localized language (i prefer german) in date and time (24h, no am/pm)

Sync with Evernote and possible donation of code for use by the Diaro site
Hello,
I also use Evernote for other document storage, but I vastly prefer Diaro for "journaling". I am experimenting with writing a process that will sync Diaro files to Evernote.
In this respect, I have three questions:
1) It's not readily clear to me when looking at the XML of a Daro backup how exactly the dates/times are stored. I see a number which I thought might be the number of ticks, but I'm not entirely sure. Can you indicate how these dates/times are stored?
2) Is there any information on the sync files that would allow me to use…

synchronize data with google?
Is it possible to sync my devices and the online-version from Diaro with on my google webspace= dropbox is very expensive over 2GB.
