Scroll bar covers tag options [online version, bug report]
When trying to access the three dot tag/folders menus the scroll bar appears on top of it, making them impossible to reach.
Firefox 62.0. Ubuntu 18.04.

Photos not showing up on mobile app.
When I attach photos and sync my phone app, I then have a very large folder with the attachments. Is there a way to delete this, as I would l like to retain space on my phone.
However, even when the web online version is completely synced, if I delete this folder, then none of the photos show up on my mobile phone app version.
How can I overcome this? I would like to see the photos on my mobile app too!5 votes -
How to recover from dropbox/Apps/Diaro/Data?
I unlinked my previous dropbox account from diaro and linked my diaro account to a new dropbox account. But I lost most of my previous entries. The entries are shown in my old dropbox account in "dropbox/Apps/Diaro/Data/entries" however there is no backup at "dropbox/Apps/Diaro/Backup". Is it possible to recover the entries from "../Diaro/Data/entries"? It seems like every file has a "file extension" which is unknown to "import/export".

OS X desktop app
Now that Day One Journal has gone to a monthly subscription model, the only thing holding many of us back from switching to Diaro, is your current lack of a Mac Desktop app. I hope you will reconsider.

All entries are lost for no reason
I've been using Diaro for quite some while and put entries occasionally. I have it linked to dropbox and sign in with google account. One day i suddently found that all entries are lost for no reasons. The only entry left is the new user entry dated not long ago. The dropbox Diaro folder has always been present in dropbox but doesn't have anything for me to back up. I'm very frustrated.

Attach other files as well as photos - pdfs, docs etc
I saw it suggested a few years ago to make it so we can attach files as well as photos - doc, pdf etc. This would be awesome for my work - I use Diaro as a teacher and its fantastic - I can record my work for the lesson, note students behaviour, add photos from whiteboard. If I could add files of the work covered that would be brilliant

Bold, Italic, underline, using shortcuts
I don't see a way to format text in these simple ways, even though I see a Completed label. If it's completed, how do I format text this way. Thank you.

google photos integration
This might not be possible,,, but I'd shoot away...
Is there anyway to integrate Google Photos app with Diaro? For example, attaching pictures in Diaro from link embedded from Google Photos. I knew 200kb for a single picture might not mean anything these days, but Dropbox size is a fairly limited 2 GB storage.
I just thought that if this is possible, it would greatly save both user's precious storage AND Diaro's server bandwidth load immensely. There's virtually no limit on Google Photos storage for High Quality pictures, so just think about how it could increase speed times and reduce…

Pinned/Sticky entries
I would like the option to be able to pin/stick an entry so that it is always at the top of all the other entries within its folder.

PC app, link to other entries and throwback
It would be useful if there's an option to add hyperlinks to other Diaro entries (similar to the PC app iDailydiary), good for referencing to a particular date/entry; also a throwback feature would be nice.
The online feature is good if you are always connected to the internet, but in some cases it would be helpful if we could write entries while offline and sync them later if we go online.
Thank you developers for such an amazing app!

#hashtags and @mentions
Simplify (and power up) tag management by allowing to enter #hashtags in front of any word (like workflowy and fetchnotes) to turn it into a tag; use of @MentionSomeone would be nice too, so we could easily filter events by people; inline tags (inside text) would be great; but separate tags (as it is now) is fine also (simplenote uses this approach also);

video entry
I would be really great to be able to create a video entry for days when people would rather express themselves in video context rather then writing. Video entry would be a relevant and progressive move.

Video Entry
I love the option of multiple photos. Other journaling apps still haven't caught up to what should be considered a basic feature. Have you guys ever thought of implementing video journal entries? This might need the requirement to be able to sync to other cloud based storage such as Amazon Cloud, iCloud, Google Drive, or OneDrive. (Amazon Cloud would be amazing as I pay yearly for unlimited storage via Prime).

I have 5 years of entries already. There are times I read my previous entries. I wish I can mark that entry so I can go back to it again when I resume my reading.
