  1. 2 way pictures Synchronisation

    At the moment the pictures are not synchronized by dropbox to mobile phone.

    But there should be the same pictures everywhere.

    Please make two way synchronization

  2. Picture quality- too low handwritten paper scans

    It's the only thing that prevents me from using the app...
    The default picture quality is too low, especially when uploading a picture (scan) of a handwritten notebook.
    When traveling, it's sometimes easier to write in a notebook and then upload the scanned pages.
    The quality in journey and dayone is good enough.

  3. A partnership with Blurb or similar book maker to automatically design and print a book of the diary

    I'd love to print my diary (by year perhaps) in a bound copy- if you were to have a partnership with an online book designer/ printer like Blurb for example, users could use that automated service directly linked with the Diaro app/ account- and I'm sure you'd get a cut of the proceeds too! :) Please!!

  5. can we get a windows app. or a downloadable version of the online Diaro to use offline?

    I have seen where developers are not looking to make a windows app. Could you make Diaro online available for offline use? Perhaps a download to desktop.

  7. Quickly update existing calendar entry to todays date/ time

    I have a note in my calendar entry, and i update this occassionally. Then I would like that it appears at the top of the all entries list.
    The only way to do this would be to change the date/ time of the entry.
    Would like a way to quickly press a button to change the calendar date/ time to the current date/ time before i save my entry again

  8. Simple formatting.

    I am echoing earlier feedback idea with same title that I was unable to comment on because the comments were closed. Ability to bold or highlight fonts. Maybe indenting, but perhaps that is going beyond "simple formatting."

  9. Stories

    I am conflicted between using tags for every trip that has multiple entries, or just prefixing it. What I would really like is create a "story" or "timeline" by linking the entries together. For example, a city trip that lasts two days and has 10 entries, would be great if I can select the last entry about that day, select "link from here" and create a new entry that points to the previous entry. This will give a chronological view of my vacation, adventure, special moments, etc.

  10. Use Less Storage Space on Phone

    Since everything is backed up to Dropbox it seems like it would be possible to have less of the data stored on my phone because it takes up a lot of space. Maybe the last 30 days would be stored on the phone and everything else would be in Dropbox. Thanks for you consideration.

  11. applescript reminder widget for os x

    Create a daily reminder widget (Applescript?) that prompts you in OS X to write in your journal. It would contain a link to the website. So a window would popup, you would click on it, and then you're at the website ready to write. It would be a nice workaround until a desktop client gets written.

  13. LAGGING SO MUCH IT DELETED AN ENTRY

    I opened my diaro and it showed me yesterday's entry. I pressed done and SUDDENLY the entry was empty and the date of the entry was yesertday's date 5/17/18 when today is 5/18/18 why in the world would it give me the entry of yesterday's when i presses the "+"????

  14. Starred entries

    I would love the ability to "star" certain entries and be able to reach them quickly via a "Starred" filter. I would use this for marking a few special entries which I always need to have handy (like an ongoing to do list). Currently I'm making do with a tag, but it would be extra-nice to have this star on top of the category and tags, and it would help me get rid of a dedicated "tasks" app and use Diaro for one more thing.

    I know a similar idea was declined but I really use adding photos, and some times a record videos I want to keep in mi diary.

  16. Always save entry draft before automatically logging out

    If one writes some text in the web app, and then later revisits the tab and is immediately and forcibly logged out, valid changes to the entry should not be deleted.

    In particular, I'm neither alerted that half of the text of my entry will be lost, nor given a chance to preserve it manually (!!). The obvious solution to me is that the app should save any changes made before the frontend finishes logging out.

    I understand it might be harder to implement this than it sounds e.g. if you use automatic token invalidation, but as you can imagine,…

  17. Export - picture missing

    When I try to export my diary into docx or pdf, all picture is missing no matter what setting I choose. This can be done without any problem until recently, only text is exported without picture, please help.

  18. Sort by Word Count, by Char Count, by other fields

    Hi,

    Right now sort is only supported by date. While sort by date is useful, a date is a strictly ordered value, and there are other available strictly ordered values.

    I think other strictly ordered fields should be supported, like:

    • word count
    • character count
    • title, that is, alphabetically

    Etc.

    The UX of this feature would be either:

    • Go to your Settings to configure your active sort.
    • "Special click" (right click, double tap, long press) the sort indicator.
    • Add a second sort indicator to the UI. The first will change ASC/DESC, and the second will change type.

  19. Pincode for the online PC version?

    I like the pincode on my Diaro on my mobile phone and tablet, but I can't find how to install a pincode on my online (PC) Diaro. What am I doing wrong? Thank you for answering!

    On the PC when I try the 'settings' I don't get the opportunity to set a pincode... I'd like to in case someone else uses my PC. I have the payed version of Diaro that synchronises whit dropbox.

  20. need a desktop app your software is just fluff without it.

    on-line apps are just gash, there is not great internet coverage everywhere
