  1. UI Color Customization

    This app is fantastic and I've enjoyed using it immensely. Just recently, I started using the Online version after using the Android version for half a year. That's probably why it surprised me that Online doesn't have the option to change the UI color. It's a small and pretty insignificant thing, but since it's available for other versions of the app, it would be an appreciated addition.

  2. Weather tags

    Dea Diaro Team, it would be great to add weather tagging, like eg. the Memoires app offers!

    So the notes could be easily shared on a web site.

  6. Notes with multiple photos

    On Android, on the note page, if there are multiple photos, you see one photo and the second is marked with "All photos (3)" opening another page with photo tiles.

    Why not have all the photo tiles on the note page, like on the Online version?

    Or, to keep it tight, why not present them on a photo band that can be scrolled left and right within the note page. Sliding left-right on the rest of the page would navigate between notes as it does now, but sliding left-right on the photos, would scroll through them. Like they do on…

  7. Folder within a folder

    I'd like to be able to create folders within a folder. I find diaro is a really great app for filing all sorts of info, and being able to creat a file within a file would help me to creat a more streamlined filing system.

  8. Mega drive support

    Mega is bigger than Dropbox. Mega offers 50GB, much better than Dropbox.
    Two ideas:
    1. It would be usefull if we can choose which drive we want to use
    2. A migration tool would be needed in order to transfer the information from one drive to another

  9. Should have Full Screen Option, Text Markdown support, Dark theme and human readable backup file

    Here are some tips for improving Diaro, my favourite app.
    Should have Full Screen Option. As it is a journal, the user has to fully concentrate on the diaro.
    Text Markdown support, as we can choose headlines, sub heads, italics with markdown support.
    Dark theme for night use as major of the users use it in night.
    A human readable backup file is required to easily edit or view the diaro content. The same should be readable for diaro too.

  10. Picture compresion

    Let the users decide on what compression level to use in the pictures uploaded to dropbox and local data itself. an add-on to set it one time forever. A latest camera could easilly take upto 5MB. I'd have it at about 600KB At the facebook compression level.

  11. upload videos from iphone

    is there any way to upload videos into the diary? It would be most helpful from the IPhone, but from the web entry would be good as well. thanks.

  14. Templates and Shortcuts

    It would be great if users could create templates to allow quickly applying specific tags, the category, and the location to a new entry. This would greatly speed up entry creation.

    Then, being able to use the templates to add shortcuts or widgets to the home screen would be awesome. This way users could set up various templates with the particular tags, etc. for a certain kind of entry (e.g. business/project ideas will have different tags/category than a travel journal entry) and get straight to the content of the entry.

    It would also be great if shortcuts for multiple templates…

  15. Tab key in text box

    It would be great if we could use the TAB key in the text box to indent instead of it changing which item is selected.
    I like to keep my messages indented for easier reading and would love this feature to be implemented in the same way that Notepad++ does it or Microsoft word.
    Having to press SPACE 5 times to indent is not the most efficient way of writing possible.

  17. Insert in-line images IN the text, not only at the bottom. Scaling the images. Second title line.

    ~ Insert thumbnails in the text

    ~A secondary title line: one for the actual title and a second one for day's rating (ABCD) and location or other standard components of the title.

  18. Customize diary entries, default folder, emojis

    I would like to be able to add pictures into the diary entry itself, as i often refer to it in the text. Also font and color editing.
    Smileys and emojis to help recall the mood in wich the journal was written in .
    Default folder that entries are automatically saved into, if folder isn't specified.

  19. A calendar Reminder would be nice

    where you can write down your daily appointments or if you can linked to the google calendar.

  20. Ability to have multiple accounts

    While using Diaro on my android and chrome, I have a personal account and a shared account with my spouse. I have to go into incognito mode to use the shared account because it automatically links the dropbox from my personal account and displays my personal posts. Would it be possible to simplify having more than one account? I saw it was declined to have collaborations, so how about this as a compromise?
